This painting reminds me of the feeling of wind, something that moves around us, changes the atmosphere, but can never really be held in our hands. I wanted to capture that movement and energy through abstract forms, as if the wind itself left its own marks on the canvas.
For me, the gold feels warm and alive, almost like light appearing from darkness, the reason I like dark surfaces for my paintings. The black and white checkered pattern adds another layer to the painting. It represents balance — the connection between opposites, like light and shadow, stability and change, order and chaos.
In feng shui, gold is connected with abundance, success, and prosperity, while flowing shapes are associated with movement and the natural flow of energy. For me, this painting carries the feeling of being guided by something unseen, trusting the direction life takes us.
