Something has been broken, but not lost. On a dark surface, I built long silver fragments that move like shards of broken light through glass — delicate, sharp, and still strangely beautiful at the same time.

For me, it carries this feeling of fragility in a very visual way. Like something once whole has split into pieces, but each piece still holds its own reflection, its own story.

There is also a softer layer underneath it — almost floral, almost organic — like nature growing through what is broken. I like that contrast, because it makes the painting feel less about damage and more about transformation.

Symbolically, I see it as the way experiences break us into different versions of ourselves. In Feng Shui, silver tones are often connected with clarity, reflection, and emotional balance, while dark backgrounds hold depth and grounding energy. Together it feels like light existing inside shadow, not fighting it, but moving through it.

For me, it’s not about brokenness. It’s about how even in fragmentation, there is still beauty, still structure, still something alive that continues to shine in its own way.
