I’m always fascinated by the figures that guard the wild, unseen places, and with this painting, I wanted to capture a true "Shadow Dancer." I wanted to create a mighty, warrior-like elf woman, not just a soldier, but a beautiful force of nature herself.

When I was painting her, I envisioned her as a protector, fully ready to attack or defend her sanctuary. She’s poised on a powerful horse, a partner that amplifies her strength. For her weapon, I didn't want something ornate and purely decorative; her broadsword is ready for action, a symbol of direct action and the courage to defend what you love. I wanted her to feel unstoppable, yet fundamentally graceful.

The entire landscape around her is filled with that fierce energy, but I also wanted to hide layers of symbolic meaning and good energy (Feng Shui). If you look closely at her armor or the horse's gear, you’ll find the Tree of Life, which represents the deep roots of our existence and our universal connection, and a perfect Four-Leaf Clover, a classic symbol of luck, wealth, and finding unexpected opportunities. I wanted to balance her fighting spirit with icons of growth and prosperity.
